Leader of Group A with six points, Rubro-Negro can leave qualification for the round of 16 well on its way if it achieves another victory in the continental tournament.
The Argentines, for their part, occupy second position with four points.
Independiente Medellín (one point) and Cusco (no points) complete the group.
In relation to the last match (4-0 over Atlético-MG, for Brasileirão), coach Leonardo Jardim opted for the entry of Emerson Royal, Danilo, Vitão, Luiz Araújo and Bruno Henrique instead of Varela, Léo Ortiz, Léo Pereira, Gonzalo Plata and Pedro, respectively, in Flamengo.
