Hyderabad: Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) ordered its officials to install a wall clock in each room of the public intermediate examination center.

In a review meeting on Thursday on the intermediate public examinations, which will begin from February 25, TG BIE secretary S. Krishna Aditya directed the officials concerned to provide double desks in all centres.

“All students should be provided with a double desk for writing the exam inside the corridor. They should not be made to sit on the floor,” he said.

He also directed officials to ensure that the corridors are equipped with fans and have adequate ventilation, functional toilets and drinking water facilities.

In addition, instructions have been approved to keep the centers under CCTV surveillance and deploy experienced personnel for examination tasks

“Accurate verification of the data of the examining staff should be carried out to avoid errors. A district and center level inspection of the security arrangements of the questionnaires and staff data should be carried out,” Aditya told the officers.
