The 2026 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) took place today at the Royal Festival Hall at London’s Southbank Centre, and One battle after another took the lead with six awards, including Best Picture, Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson and Best Supporting Actor for Sean Penn. Meanwhile, Ryan Coogler sinners had three wins: Wunmi Mosak took home the award for Best Supporting Actress and Guillermo del Toro. frankenstein won the award for Best Costume Design, Best Production Design and Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
The ceremony, hosted by Emmy-winning actor Alan Cumming, will air at 7pm GMT on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK, and at 8pm ET/PT on E! in North America.
