The MCU has new must-reads! A rumor reveals which Marvel Comics will serve as the basis for Avengers: Judgment DayThe main story.

Or a project will be literally and visibly based on a specific run of a comic (see: hawk eye, infinite war) or being completely disconnected from any of its comics roots (see: Shang-Chi, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3). However, that analysis may be incomplete. In a now-deleted post (via ComicBookMovie.com), Cryptic4kQual posted a rumor that appears to confirm which comics Avengers: Judgment Day will be inspired. And, perhaps unsurprisingly, it looks like the film will bring the secret wars comics in the MCU.

The comic inspirations of Avengers: Doomsday
This rumor should not surprise anyone who is in the know. Avengers: Judgment Day. It’s all but confirmed that raids will play a key role in the end of the MCU’s Multiverse Saga, which was a clear sign that Hickman secret wars The race would adapt. Still, it looks like the comic will undergo some major changes on its way to the big screen.
