The Nagaland State Lottery is conducted three times a day: morning, day and night. Different lotteries are held daily and their names vary with respect to the distribution of prize money. The serial ₹5.80 crore notes range from 42 to 99/ABCDEGHJKL, while the serial number will range from 00000 to 99999. The price of a single note is ₹6/-.

• Dear Day, 2.80 crore tickets will be printed in series 74 to 99/ABCDEGHJKL with serial number 00000 to 99999. The cost of each ticket is ₹6.

• Dear Night: Serials 30 to 99/ABCDEGHJKL followed by serial numbers 00000 to 99999 will be printed in a total of 7.00 crore tickets and the price of each ticket will be ₹6.

• Nagaland legalized lottery industry

In India, only 13 states have legalized the celebration and playing of lottery. Nagaland is one such state, where the practice has been legally permitted since 1967. Other states where lottery is legal include Assam, Mizoram, Kerala, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, West Bengal and Sikkim. On the contrary, the rest of the states in India have imposed a complete ban on conducting and playing lottery games.

3. Government-recognized photo identification and passport-size photographs must be attached to the claim form.

4. Manipulated or mutilated bills will not be accepted.

5. For prizes up to INR 10,000, payment can be made through the respective distributor, stockist, agent or seller authorized by the state government.
