What highlights this issue is not just the delay. Princeton alleges that Aspen was completely worthless during those two years. According to the filing, Aspen representatives inspected the property shortly after the Sept. 28, 2022 storm and observed damage to screens, landscaping and roofs. Between late September and mid-December 2022, Aspen documented more than 46 storm-related repairs. It retained a contractor, Restore Masters, LLC, and brought in several public adjusters to assess the damage in early December 2022. As of March 2024, Aspen was estimated to have a total of $29,173,704.13 in replacement cost value from restore masters.
