In a lawsuit filed in the Southern District of New York on April 17, 2026, Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Insurance Company and Redwood Fire & Casualty Insurance Company say that three affiliated companies – Corbel Communications Industries LLC, Corbel Communications Industries of California Inc., and City Connect Industries LLC – owed $500,000 in excess workers’ compensation and employer’s liability premiums. There is an outstanding of Rs 1,180,921.95, which came to light after a post-policy audit. Both carriers charged the court with three individual defendants – Angelo Pino, Jr., Michael R. Pino and Angelo are also asking for John Pino to be personally put in the courtroom for the bill.
