This led Pakistan cricket expert Nauman Niaz to humorously suggest that the youngster could be using an artificial intelligence chip in his bat to generate power.

“Think about it. What is this kid? Get his bat checked. Since WADA does drug testing, send him to a lab. He probably used an AI chip in his bat. It’s unreal. What a player,” Niaz said in a viral YouTube video. “When you are 18 years old, your body develops muscles, biceps and triceps. This one is only 16 years old. He was born when Virat Kohli was world champion. He doesn’t have so much power play as technique. He is a wrist player, also, if you look at his arc, he uses the entire 360-degree range.”

In response, Iceland Cricket, known for its bold social media posts, asked for details about the artificial intelligence chips used by the prodigy, sparking a wave of trolling targeting Pakistan cricket online. Some users even joked that Sooryavanshi’s “technology” might not be from this planet, while another suggested that the chips came from the same place where former Australian captain and current Punjab Kings coach Ricky Ponting allegedly got “spring” in his bat.
