S&P 500 futures fell Wednesday night as investors debated whether NVIDIAThe earnings report met the high standard set for the artificial intelligence titan.

Futures linked to the broad index fell 0.4%, while Nasdaq 100 Futures lost 0.6%. Dow Jones Industrial Average Futures fell 144 points, or 0.3%.

Nvidia quickly beat Wall Street expectations for earnings and guidance, in addition to announcing an increase in its quarterly cash dividend to 25 cents. But investors expect the chipmaker to beat estimates and improve its prospects amid the AI ​​boom.

Shares of the mega-cap tech player hovered around its flat line in extended trading, last falling about 1%.

Intuit fell 13% after posting worse-than-expected revenue and announcing a workforce reduction of about 17%, or about 3,000 people. On the other hand, elf beauty rose 4% after beating Wall Street forecasts on both lines and saying it would reverse some tariff-related price increases.

Stocks rose on Wednesday, snapping a three-day losing streak for the S&P 500as oil prices and bond yields retreated. Investor spirits lifted after President Donald Trump said his administration was in the “final stages” of negotiations with Iran, according to a report from the group.

“The market is coming off a really strong earnings season that generated positive revisions to earnings expectations, but concerns around inflation and demand destruction in the economy are proving persistent,” said Scott Helfstein, head of investment strategy at Global X ETFs. “This may be difficult to analyze, but there are still many positive trends that can help boost the economy and markets.”

Investors will follow Thursday’s earnings Walmart —the largest grocer and private employer in the United States—before the bell rang, followed by work day after the market closes. Traders will also monitor economic data on jobless claims, housing and manufacturing due in the morning.
