‘We’re writing furiously’: Raj Nidimoru shares big update on The Family Man season 4
Raj Nidimoru has shared an update on the progress of The Family Man’s fourth season, revealing that the writing process is actively underway. Speaking about the future of the popular series, Raj explained that the creators had originally envisioned seasons 3 and 4 as parts of a larger interconnected narrative rather than separate standalone stories.
In a conversation with Variety India, Raj Nidimoru spoke about The Family Man season 4. “We had always planned seasons 3 and 4 as one long story. Some viewers felt that season 3 ended midway, but in our minds, the central narrative had reached a logical point. Only Srikant Tiwari’s journey was left unfinished because it naturally continued in the next season. So yes, we are writing furiously. We have to get to the second part of that story,” Raj said Nidimoru.
Recently, News18 Showsha spoke exclusively to Manoj Bajpayee and he has some interesting insights about the new season. Talking to us, Manoj Bajpayee shared, “Raj and DK are currently busy with the filming of Farzi. Soon after wrapping it up, they will dive into the new season of The Family Man. The basic script is the last draft and the final form is dena baaki hai, and then they will start taking dates.”
He went on to add, “Baatcheet toh hui thi, abhi thodi band hai Prime Video ke sath, pero vo log Farzi bhi bana rahe hain, isliye unka sara dhyan uspar hai. After that, the work will begin.”
Confirming that the filming will begin very soon, he added, “Es baar wait nahi hai, mainly agle saal second half mein aana chahiye. Ye mere guess hai.”
While he was asked for confirmation, he gave an important update saying, “Contractually, as you see, our contracts end after the fourth season.” When asked if he was hinting that the fourth season is the last, Bajpayee quipped, “I don’t know, ho sakta hai Prime Video ko achanak se lage, thoda zyada paisa dekar hi sahi, magar lekar aate hain (laughs). Who knows?”
The actor concluded, “Yaa, fourth is something where we have to conclude this story, and after that it’s up to Prime Video if they want to continue.”
