Today I’m talking about a blonde beauty look that I recently created for a holiday event. The idea was for my makeup to shine as much as my gold sequin dress! Given this, I opted for lots of highlighter, gold tone eyeshadow, as well as some shimmer! outcome? a lot get to sleep shine! Below you can read about all the products I used to achieve this festive look.
highlighter
When I’m looking for glow and shine instead of foundation, I use highlighter drops like these. It makes my skin look more even and gives me a little extra glow!
bronzing powder
For contouring I applied a bronzer that has warm tones and some glow. This one in ‘Laguna’ is perfect for this look!
sunset eyeshadow
To really give my look that golden glow I was looking for, I wanted to use a palette that had a lot of warm tones and colors that leaned more orange. This is great. Using a fine brush I applied ‘Cork’, ‘Musk’ and ‘Stout’ on my upper lids, and ‘Bourbon’ under the eyes.
brow gel
No brow look is complete without a little brow gel. This is what I used for this look.
eyeliner
If you follow me you know that this step is never skipped to create a great cat eye. For this glamorous look I used my tried-and-true Stila Liquid Liner.
Lampblack
Okay, final step! I applied black mascara to help my eyes really bring out the gold color. This formula is very good.
