Celebrities are often photographed by paparazzi at airports and restaurants in Mumbai, and their reactions to photographers vary widely. While some stars pose happily, others prefer to keep their distance. Now, paparazzo Snehkumar Zala has shared his experiences of interacting with several celebrities including Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma and Taapsee Pannu.
About Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Speaking to Hindi Rush, Snehkumar recalled that Abhishek and Aishwarya are usually polite and often pose when they are with their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
“All three of them, Abhishek, Aishwarya and Aaradhya, smile and pose for us. Abhishek sir sometimes says no to photos when he travels alone, but they never refuse to take photos when they are together,” he said.She also shared one of the first lessons she learned while covering the couple. “Once, when I was new in the business, I saw Abhishek and Aishwarya at the airport, and I called Aishwarya ‘Aish’. At that time, Abhishek looked at me and I understood that I should not call her ‘Aish’.”
About Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma
The paparazzo also spoke about photographing Virat and Anushka, who are known to be protective of their children, including son Akaay Kohli.“Virat and Anushka are friendly to us. We know how they will pose for photographs. They come, put their children in the car and then pose for photographs,” he said.Recalling a particular moment, he added, “Once, while they were traveling, Anushka was holding Akaay and Virat told us to only click on him and not them. At that time, the photographers started behaving like fans and asked to take a photo with Virat. At that time, they should have let him go because his wife and kids were waiting.”
At Taapsee Pannu
However, Snehkumar admitted that he finds Taapsee Pannu less approachable compared to other celebrities.“Celebrities are not rude. They just ask us not to click photos sometimes, that’s all. But I find Taapsee Pannu rude. If you don’t want to be clicked, say no to paparazzi, that’s all,” he said.“I don’t want to say anything negative about her, but she is a bit rude, says no, and just says anything to the paparazzi. I have just clicked her once or twice, but I have seen a lot of her clips where she talks rudely to photographers, and I don’t like clicking her. I enjoy clicking other actors, but not her,” he added.
