With Mount Panorama set to come to life this week (February 13-15), organizers have confirmed the final entry list for the 2026 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour, a 35-car grid spanning Pro, Pro-Am, Silver, Bronze, GT4 and Invitational categories.
Depth is evident at the front, with a 15-car Pro class and a driver list that includes nine previous Bathurst 12 Hour winners (15 wins between them), along with major international GT and endurance champions highlighted in the release.
The 2026 edition also brings a new factory flavor: Ford and Chevrolet will make their full debut in the category, led by the Mustang GT3 from HRT Ford Racing and the Corvette Z06 GT3.R from Johor Motorsports Racing.
There’s a welcome return too, with McLaren back in GT3 at Bathurst via the Optimum Motorsport McLaren 720S GT3 EVO, while star power remains strong through the likes of Valentino Rossi in Team WRT’s BMW M4 GT3 EVO.
On the local front, the launch signals a reunited Jamec Racing/Team MPC Audi effort featuring Brad Schumacher, Will Brown and Christopher Haase, adding another proven combination to a professional field made up of both international aces and Australian performers.
