BCCI announces schedule for second phase of TATA IPL 2026
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today announced the schedule for the second phase of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026.
The rest of the league phase, which will comprise 50 matches, will be played from April 13 to May 24, 2026 at 12 venues in India.
The second phase matches will be played in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Dharamshala, Raipur and New Chandigarh.
As the tournament enters a crucial phase, teams will compete at all venues for a playoff spot, with the race expected to intensify during the second half of the league phase.
The action resumes on April 13, 2026, with Sunrisers Hyderabad taking on Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad, setting the tone for an exciting series of matches.
Fans can expect an exciting phase of the tournament as teams compete for positions in the run-up to the final weeks of the league phase.
The second phase will feature eight double matches, with afternoon matches starting at 03:30 pm IST and afternoon matches starting at 07:30 pm IST.
Punjab Kings will play their home matches in New Chandigarh and Dharamshala, including three matches in Dharamshala during this phase. Rajasthan Royals will host four home matches in Jaipur, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru will play three home matches in Bengaluru and two in Raipur.
