Residents in these areas are advised to use caution as conditions may become unstable.Rain is expected in several districts including Vijayapura, Bagalkot, Raichur, Koppal, Ballari, Chitradurga, Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Mysuru, Kodagu, Hassan, Chikkaballapur, Bengaluru Urban and Kolar.Rainfall activity is expected to increase over North Karnataka districts on March 28, while southern interior parts, including Bengaluru, may see intensified rainfall on March 29. Coastal districts like Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada are likely to experience isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Although precipitation may decrease slightly over the next few days, indications suggest that intermittent rain could continue until approximately April 4 or 5.Bengaluru is likely to receive good rains over the next few days, especially during the evening and night hours. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 33°C, while the minimum could drop to 20°C.Scattered rain with thunderstorms is expected in districts such as Kodagu, Hassan, Chikkamagaluru and Shivamogga during the afternoon and evening, with some areas likely to receive moderate rainfall. This summer rain activity is expected to continue until approximately April 5. In the southern interior, districts like Mysuru, Tumakuru and Chitradurga may also see light to moderate rain with thundershowers at some places.Residents have been advised to take shelter in safe places during rain and lightning, and regularly check updates from the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Center (KSNDMC) or IMD websites for the latest weather information.A mid-level anticyclonic circulation has formed over central India, including parts of northern Karnataka, which may lead to increased rainfall in the region. Rains are also likely to extend to southern interior districts after March 28.
