Blouses are doing the heavy lifting this spring, adding to the way you dress, not the end. What is coming most is movement. Lightweight silk, chiffon and cotton fabrics that stay close to the body and form their own shapes.

Ruffles are still present along the neckline, sleeves or hem to add detail with intention. Volume is visible through the fuller sleeves, balanced with clean lines through the body.

Print is where it gets interesting. Paisley, mixed florals and layered patterns appear in a lot of these, often in slightly unexpected color combinations. It is more compiled than coordinated.

There’s also a range in shapes – cropped, draped pieces next to long, almost tunic-like styles, as well as some that lean more directional through asymmetry or scarf-inspired cuts. Then more classic blouses, finished with pleating, lace, or subtle embroidery.
