Two days after her name allegedly surfaced, along with several other actors and politicians, during the Mumbai Police investigation into a drug syndicate linked to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, actress Nora Fatehi on Saturday lashed out at such reports, denying her participation or attendance at such parties. He warned the media not to use his name for stories such as “clickbait” and threatened consequences.

Making a strong statement, the “Saki-Saki” fame actress took to Instagram and started with a big bold text for your information (FYI) at the top of her story. She wrote: “I do NOT go to parties… I am constantly on flights… I am a workaholic, I don’t have a personal life… I don’t associate with people like that.”

He said he usually spends fun times with his friends or relaxes in Dubai. “I spend my entire days and nights working on my dreams and goals! Don’t believe anything you read!”

The Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Mumbai Police on Thursday busted a major syndicate run by wanted drug lord Salim Dola, who is said to be an associate of Dawood Ibrahim. Subsequently, names of several Bollywood actors, models, rappers, filmmakers and Dawood Ibrahim’s relatives emerged.

Dola allegedly supplied mephedrone, also known as M-Cat, Meow Meow and Ice, to those parties.

“It seems like my name is an easy target! But I won’t let it happen this time! It happened once before. You tried to destroy me with LIES and it didn’t work. I watched silently as everyone did their best to smear my name, tarnish my reputation, and use me as click bait.” Fatehi wrote, expressing his extreme discontent.

“Please refrain from using my name and image in situations that have absolutely NOTHING to do with me! This will have a very high price! Respectfully,” concluded the actor.

According to the Mumbai anti-narcotics agency’s probe into the drug syndicate run by Salim Dola, his son Taher Dola, extradited from the UAE in August, revealed key details during interrogation.

He said several celebrities attended drug-fueled parties he organized in India and abroad.

India Today has obtained the remand documents in which investigators outline these allegations.

The remand copy reads: “Further investigation into the said accused number 05 has revealed that he organizes drug parties in the country and abroad and supplies drugs to such parties.”

It further adds, “The said accused has previously organized drug parties in the country and abroad with Alisha Parkar, Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor and her brother Siddharth Kapoor, Zishan Siddiqui, Ori alias Orhan, Abbas Mastaan, Loka and many other persons and he himself has joined them and is supplying drugs to these and other persons.”

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Mumbai Crime Branch are now scrutinizing the operations of the alleged drug syndicate.

With these names appearing in the investigation documents, the Mumbai Crime Branch is expected to summon the mentioned actors, rappers and filmmakers to record their statements, and further action may be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
