Sherbro Island, off the coast of Sierra Leone, is slated for an ambitious transformation: a new hub for international trade and investment, designed to rival cities like Singapore or Hong Kong. The BBC’s Ed Butler travels to the island to check out the project and talks to developer Siaka Stevens, who is leading the effort with backers including movie-star Idris Elba, about the vision and what it will take to bring it to fruition.
