Dimapur: Nagaland Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Saturday appealed to all citizens to contribute generously to the Armed Forces Flag Day fund, instituted for the welfare of serving defense personnel, battle casualties, war widows and for resettlement of ex-servicemen and their dependents.Bhalla extended his greetings on Armed Forces Flag Day, celebrated on December 7, to honor the martyrs and men and women in uniform and pay tribute to the brave heroes who have laid down their lives in the service of the country.He said it is our solemn duty not only to express our deep admiration for the martyrs and brave personnel who were injured in the line of duty, but also to recognize and support their families.
