Ahead of Leeds United’s clash with Nottingham Forest at Elland Road on Friday night, Daniel Farke provided an update on his team’s availability.
The Whites head into the West Yorkshire fixture looking to bounce back strongly after their brilliant New Year’s run hit its first hurdle in the form of title-chasing Arsenal.
Following the Gunners’ visit, Farke has contrasting updates on the team’s availability.
“Overall, we have conflicting news,” the chief said. “Jaka Bijol, since we are training with the team today, we will have to wait now to see how his body reacts, but that is definitely positive for us.
“James Justin, back at team training. Thank God it was just a bruise and not a broken finger. He’s also available for the weekend, definitely, definitely good news.
“Daniel James is progressing, very good news.
“Lukas Nmecha is not yet training with the team. We have two more days left, it is unlikely that he will be able to make it to this match, but he is not very far away either.
“The only negative news is that Anton Stach is suffering from some hip problems after the last day of the game and it looks like he will probably miss Friday’s game and also the Chelsea game.
“It’s probably a 10 to 14 day off situation, at least that’s what the doctor says right now.”
