If you don’t already wear balloon pants, you’re definitely seeing them everywhere. They’ve taken over this season – lightweight, easy to wear, and a nice change from your usual linen trousers or satin trousers. A little more interesting, but just as comfortable.
The pair I recently bought and wore on my trip-Alix Evangeline of Bohemia Ibis Chiffon Pant– sold me completely. The color is what first drew me to them, but it’s the soft peplum detail and sheer, airy movement that really made them feel special. i styled them this bodysuit (I would tag), because they are kinda obvious, and it turned out to be the perfect combination.
The versions I’m seeing (and loving) the most right now:
– Lace and broderie styles (like Zimmerman or Pose) for texture.
– Easy cotton pull-ons for everyday (Lisa Says Gah, Caroline Constas).
– Printed or silk versions (Elemis, Chloé) that look perfect for the holidays
