Gold prices rose by Rs 1,914 to Rs 1.46 lakh per 10 gram in futures trade on Friday tracking strong global trends amid improvement in sentiment following signs of easing geopolitical tensions in West Asia, PTI reported.On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for April delivery rose by Rs 1,914, or 1.32 per cent, to Rs 1,46,868 per 10 grams.Analysts attributed the improvement in bullion prices to the stable risk outlook in the sector after recent developments suggested low likelihood of further disruption to energy infrastructure.Gold prices in major cities today are as follows:
