Dubai: India captain Harmanpreet Kaur moved up to seventh place even as her deputy Smriti Mandhana continued to maintain the top spot in the latest women’s ODI rankings released on Tuesday.

Kaur moved up one place to seventh after New Zealand legend Sophie Devine dropped two places to drop to ninth. Jemimah Rodrigues remained static in 12th place.

New Zealand batter Maddy Green’s excellent knock of 94 in the final match of their ICC Women’s Championship series against Zimbabwe has helped her make notable progress up the rankings.

The 33-year-old’s 73-ball knock in Dunedin contributed to her team’s huge 200-run victory that completed a 3-0 run and helped her climb five places to 17th among batsmen with a career-best 610 rating points. All-rounder Amelia Kerr, who won the Player of the Match award in the final ODI with a complete effort of 80 and 5/22, also captured the Player of the Series award as she advanced from 21st to 19th among batsmen, registering over 600 rating points in both the batting and bowling rankings.

Isabelle Gaze (up three places to 61) is another New Zealand player to move up the batting rankings, while bowlers Rosemary Mair (up seven places to 58) and Bree Illing (up five places to 79) have progressed up the bowling rankings. In the T20I standings, captain Amelia Kerr reaches a career-best score of 694 points after clearing 78 out of 44.
