Hooters, the US-based restaurant series which are known for chicken wings and “hooter girls” skimp-stuff outfits, have filed for bankruptcy conservation.

The HOA Restaurant Group on Monday filed a proposal for chapter 11 in the Northern Texas insolvency court in Dallas.
The company escaped financial crises as its debt, but says it intends to stay open and solve its troubles within months. Hooter said in a news release that a group of basic founders of the company that owns the US locations of about one -third of the Hooters, which consists of its largest volume restaurant, plans to buy and operate outlets.

The company said in a notice on its website, “Our famous hooter restaurants are to live here and we are taking action to give better service to our valuable customers to strengthen our business.”
The Hooter located in Atlanta, Georgia was established in 1983 at Clearwater, Florida. The problem was going on for a while.
Hooter sponsored the number 9 NASCAR car operated by Chase Elliot since 2017, but last year, Hendric Motorsports long ended their ties with sponsors as it was not fulfilling its financial commitments.

Its commercial strategy has faced challenges over the years, including cases of hiring only “hooter girls” for customers’ serving.
Last year, it agreed to pay $ 250,000 and provide other relief to settle a race and color discrimination case brought by the US Equal Employment Opportunity against a Hootersboro Outlet in Greensborough, North Carolina.
In 2022, the restaurant denied the claims that he was shutting down and rebranding due to changing the taste of the customer.
In 2019, Hooter Hotel-Caseino was sold from the Las Vegas strip to an Indian hotel company and was rebuilt as Oyo Hotel and Casino.
In 2017, the company tried to open a restaurant, which did not have a waiting-employee’s facility in the tight top, as a test of a separate approach to its original concept.
