Hyderabad will witness temperatures of up to 40°C on Monday, with thunderstorms expected in the evening. Across Telangana, intense daytime heat will give way to rain, lightning and gusty winds, offering temporary relief but indicating unsettled weather conditions this week.

Hyderabad: Central areas of Hyderabad will experience a maximum temperature of up to 40 degrees Celsius on Monday and a spell of scattered thunderstorms is expected during the afternoon hours, according to weather forecasts.
In Telangana too, it will be another day of intense heat until the afternoon before heavy downpours accompanied by lightning and gusts of wind.
Daytime morning temperatures in Hyderabad and its surrounding districts including Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Rangareddy, Bhongir and Medchal-Malkajgiri are expected to range between 40 degrees Celsius and 43 degrees Celsius, according to the forecast by IMD, Hyderabad.
By Monday afternoon or late night, heavy thunderstorms are expected in Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Yadadri-Bhongir and Sangareddy. More than 20 districts of Telangana are expected to experience maximum temperatures ranging between 41 degrees Celsius and 44 degrees Celsius on Monday. However, in the evening they could also experience sporadic storms, until the end of this month.
The meteorological department’s forecast has indicated that the central regions of Hyderabad will experience a maximum temperature of up to 40 degrees Celsius and a spell of scattered thunderstorms is expected during the night hours.
