New Delhi: Hyundai Motor India will increase prices by up to Rs 12,800 across its vehicle lineup from June 1. The company said the increase will vary depending on the model and variant. Hyundai said the increase is being implemented due to rising input costs, higher commodity prices and rising operating expenses. The company said it had tried to absorb a part of the cost burden internally before deciding on the revision.Hyundai said, “Although the company is making continuous efforts to optimize costs and minimize the impact on its customers, the company is bound to pass on some of the increased costs to the market.”
