NEW DELHI: Ahead of the IPL 2026 season, the two captains, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Ishan Kishan and Gujarat Titans’ Shubman Gill, were seen engaging in fun and light-hearted banter. The video, in which the duo teased each other, was highly appreciated by fans on social media.Regular captain Pat Cummins will miss the early stages of IPL 2026 due to a back injury and in his absence, Ishan will lead SRH.In the video, Shubman and Ishan are seen taunting each other.

Gill first taunted Ishan by calling him a “half-captain”, to which the SRH player replied that he would respond later.When Gill was asked to give advice to Ishan, the GT captain said that he does not “give advice to half-captains”.Ishan responded by saying that he does not take advice from anyone and is “a champion in himself”.The lighthearted banter between the two friends didn’t end there.Ishan said that Shubman Gill would not perform very well this season.In response, Gill asked Ishan when was the last time Hyderabad won the title.
