North America’s largest dinosaur show will take place Friday through Sunday at the Bangor Cross Insurance Center.

BANGOR, Maine – Have you ever wanted to walk among dinosaurs?

Now’s your chance as dozens of interactive, animatronic, prehistoric creatures are tiptoeing toward the Bangor Cross Insurance Center.

It is part of Jurassic Quest, the largest dinosaur show in North America.

“We have over 165 million years of prehistoric dinosaurs for families to check out,” said dinosaur trainer Brainy Beth. “We worked closely with paleontologists to create our exhibit. As you walk through, you can see different time periods, getting an up-close-and-personal educational experience with one of our paleontology experts here.”

The Jurassic Quest herd of dinosaurs will be in Bangor for three days from August 12-14.

According to the show’s website, dinosaur fans of all ages will have the chance to experience interactive science and art activities including lifelike moving dinosaurs, dinosaur-themed rides, live dinosaur shows and even a giant fossil dig.

“If you upgrade your ticket to an unlimited ride ticket, if you are between the ages of 2 and 12, you are welcome to potentially ride the dinosaurs,” explained Brainy Beth. “We want you to get tickets in advance because they fly off the shelves like pterosaurs.”

Jurassic Quest Days and Hours:

Friday, August 12: 9 am – 8 pm

Saturday, August 13: 9am – 8pm

Sunday, August 14: 9 am – 6 pm

Unlimited rides for kids (admission included): $36 for your access to the dinosaur ride, inflatables, and fossil dig.
