The Karunya Weekly Lottery (KR-748) is run by the Kerala State Lottery Directorate and is drawn every Saturday (except national holidays). The retail price of a ticket is 50 INR. Banknotes are printed in twelve series: KN, KO, KP, KR, KS, KT, KU, KV, KW, KX, KY, KZ.

A total of 1 crore and 8 lakh tickets worth ₹42,18,48,000 are sold in this series. The draw is usually held in Thiruvananthapuram.
Here is the prize structure of Karunya Weekly Lottery (KR-748):
The first prize ticket holder will receive an amount of ₹1,00,00,000, which is common to all the series. It will be drawn once.
The second prize ticket holder will receive an amount of ₹25,000,000. It will also be drawn once.
The third prize ticket holder will receive an amount of INR 10,000,000. It will also be drawn once.
4th prize: ₹5000 (to be drawn 20 times, once in each series)
5th Prize: INR 2000 (Last 4 digits will be drawn 6 times)
6th prize: ₹1000 (to be drawn 30 times)
7th Prize: ₹500 (to be drawn 76 times)
8th Prize: INR 200 (to be drawn 92 times)
9th Prize: INR 100 (to be drawn 144 times)
Consolation Prize: ₹5000 (11 prizes)
The consolation prize is awarded to tickets that share the same number as the first prize in the other 11 series.
An amount equal to 30 percent of the prize money will be deducted from the first prize as taxes. In addition, 10 percent of the prize will be deducted as the agent’s commission.
Prizes must be claimed 30 days after the drawing date. The winners of the First and Second prize may present their tickets to the Director of State Lotteries, either in person, by mail or through national, state or district banks with the necessary documents.
Prizes below ₹1 lakh can be claimed at district lottery offices or sub-offices.
