It’s time for the Loons’ final showdown before the league takes a break for the biggest global competition, and it promises to be action-packed. Minnesota United hosts Real Salt Lake, one of the Western Conference’s top contenders, in an afternoon of competition for the ages. RSL have settled into third place in the West, constantly making waves among the dynamic attacking trio of Sergi Solans, Zavier Gozo and (of course) Diego Luna. The visitors look to extend their winning streak to three, while the Loons hope to bounce back from a pair of losses.
It’s the farewell to the World Cup. It’s $2 hot dog day. It’s MNUFC against Real Salt Lake and it’s time to get excited.
