Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan has acclaimed the contributions of people from other states, such as Bihar and Rajasthan, in the development of Puducherry.
Going to an event to celebrate the day of the Foundation of Bihar and Rajasthan organized in the Raj nivas, Kailashnathan said that Opocherry has benefited a lot due to the people of the states of Bihar and Rajasthan who live here. It has improved the diversity and cultural wealth of the region, he said.
According to Lieutenant Governor, Bihar, as an education and administration center, has played an important role in the intellectual and spiritual development of the country, while Rajasthan is better known for his administrative system and commercial success. Rajasthan has also shown that deserts and forts could become world -class tourist destinations, he added.
Mr. Kailashnathan said that the most wonderful feature of the migrant community was that he resided from his native homes in any way his love for his state.
In addition, such festivals strengthen mutual relations between different states and encourage national unity. Although traditions are diverse and different languages, all Indians travel together towards the development of the country, he said.
