Mansukh Mandaviya, Sports Minister of India, participated in the FIT India Pink Cyclothon on Sunday to celebrate International Women’s Day and promote fitness among women.The event was held as part of the Sunday on Cycle campaign, which encourages people across the country to cycle for better health and a cleaner environment.
While speaking at the event, Mandaviya urged people to make cycling a regular habit, saying it is a simple way to stay fit and also reduce pollution. He noted that such initiatives help cultivate a culture of collective competence and responsibility among citizens.

The minister also highlighted the importance of women’s empowerment. “When women gain power, families and societies prosper, directly contributing to nation-building,” Mandaviya said in her speech.Mandaviya further called for more support and opportunities for women and girls to participate in sports and physical activities, adding that inclusive participation can strengthen communities and help the nation progress.
