Maruti Suzuki Victories, the latest offering from India’s largest carmaker.
India’s biggest automakers, including Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. to Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. and Royal Enfield, are reporting their auto sales amid expectations of double-digit growth in February 2026. According to Nuwama Institutional Research, auto sales in February 2026 are likely to grow in the teens compared to a year ago, as GST rate cuts on cars and new models continued to attract buyers to showrooms.

Auto sales in February 2026: Hyundai India
Hyundai Motor India Limited has recorded its highest ever sales in February on the back of 25% growth in exports.

• Sales in India grew 9.8% year-on-year to 52,407 units
• Exports increased by 24.8% year-on-year to 13,727 units
• Total sales increased by 12.6% year-on-year to 66,134 units
“We started 2026 with our highest ever monthly sales in January and the momentum has continued in February as well,” Hyundai India Chief Executive Officer Tarun Garg said in a statement.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s auto sales rose by nearly a fifth in February 2026 as demand for its larger cars continued to grow.
