On April 2, the Duchess of Sussex responded in a video posted by Amanda Hirsch on the Instagram account for Not skinny but not fat. The clip showed Hirsch chatting with Adams, who played Meghan’s love interest in Suitswhere he admitted that he didn’t try any of his now famous jam.
“Jams on the way for you @patrickjadams and @sleepinthegardn,” the Duchess of Sussex wrote online in response, tagging her former co-star and his wife, Troian Bellisario.
“Hugs to those beautiful babies. Send my love to your mom ❤️,” Meghan continued, sweetly greeting the couple’s three daughters. Aurora7, eliot4, and Imogen2 months, along with Adams’ mother.
Adams, 44, opened up about Meghan during the show’s March 31 episode. Not skinny but not fat podcast, in a clip shared with PEOPLE. The conversation turned to her improvisation after Hirsch asked if Meghan had ever sent her a handwritten note like the one she received, which featured the Duchess of Sussex’s signature handwriting. Adams even praised it as “impeccable handwriting.”

“How was the jam? Be honest… We should try the jam. We should open it,” she joked, and Hirsch agreed that she “should have brought it” to the interview.
The jam has become one of the standout items of Meghan’s lifestyle brand, which she first launched as American Riviera Orchard in 2024. She sent jars to friends like Kris Jenner, Chrissy Teigen, Mindy Kaling, Tracy Robbinsand Suits co-star Abigail Spencer. In February 2025, he revealed that the brand would be renamed As Always.
