Field adjuster Clayton McGrath initially estimated damage to the roof, front elevation and right elevation at only $1,307.47, well below the $10,705.00 deductible. A joint inspection was conducted on or around April 30, 2025, involving engineers from both sides. Tim Rodriguez, PE of Keystone Experts and Engineers, who conducted the inspection on behalf of Great Lakes, reportedly concluded that “the lentils lacked localized, circular areas of grain damage, with embedded granules, bruising and fractures consistent with hail impact.” McGrath then revised his estimate back — but only to $1,985.92.
