Motorola on Wednesday (July 15, 2026) expanded its Edge 70 lineup and launched the Motorola Edge 70 Max in India. It also features the company’s recently launched AI assistant called Motorola Qira to offer cross-device connections between Motorola and Lenovo devices.

Motorola Edge 70 Max has a 6.8-inch Quad HD+ (2K) Extreme AMOLED display, with a maximum brightness of up to 7,000 nits and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and also has IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Motorola Edge 70 Max ships with a 7100 mAh silicon-carbon battery, along with 90W TurboPower charging. It also supports 25W Qi2 magnetic wireless charging.

Motorola Edge 70 Max is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB storage. It runs Hello UX based on Android 16 out of the box.

Motorola Edge 70 Max has a 50 MP Sony Lytia 710 sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8 MP macro and ultra-wide lens, and a 32 MP front camera.

Motorola Edge 70 Max comes in 8 GB/256 GB (R$ 54,999) and 12 GB/256 GB (R$ 59,999) variants and in Pantone Aqua Grey, Dark Shadow and Ice Melt shades. The sale starts on July 20 on Flipkart, Motorola and major retail stores in India.
