My NYC Summer Staple – Atlantic-Pacific

 & more related News Here

16 July 2026

I wouldn’t say my style completely changes whenever I visit NYC, but it does. I want shoes I can walk in for long periods of time, shoes that I can mix and match with more items in my luggage, and shoes that are comfortable for all those in-between moments in the city. I’ve been wearing the following three pieces consistently on this trip: these pants, this top (on sale!), and these flip flops. I’m going to reflect on some of the styles I’ve packed and the ones I keep reaching for.

black pants //Florida Blair will be shocked! I’ve been wearing black pants a lot on this trip! I travel in these pants which are one of my favorite items. I have them in olive and red and they have a great length and the weight is perfect for summer. These pants have been worn repeatedly and are often featured here on Atlantic-Pacific. Sadly they are now sold out. That being said, I also like this, this, and this, which are all pretty similar. Last but certainly not least, these are the Ponte barrel leg pants I have owned and worn. I would consider these if you’re interested – sizes are growing fast!

cozy flat // An NYC no-brainer – always have comfortable flats. I’m a total convert to the flip flop trend and these and these are my current favorites. I love that they’re both under $100 and I can wear them all day. Never say never, but I don’t think I’d invest in $700 flip flops. Okay, now we need to talk about these flats. They’re so cute in raffia, and honestly, they feel like you’re wearing slippers. I wore them on the day of my trip and now I’m wearing them all over town. Bonus – they’re on sale now!

easy tops // In the above shot I am wearing this organza top. I bought it at full price (eye roll), but luckily you can get it on sale here. I love that it’s transparent and light, but not too visible. Apart from this top, I have worn many easy tees like this one and this one. The temperature has become high!

In case you missed it, there’s a lot of new stuff on the site. You can see lots of new looks from NYC here as well as all my updated shopping links. I just posted my favorite second-hand finds here (always a favorite series), and you can check out a new sales report here.
