The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has pressed five players, including four experienced activists and an emerging pacemaker, for the next five -game T20I series against Bangladesh scheduled for next month.
According to the sources, the players under consideration are sahibiated Farhan, Hussain Talat, Hasan Ali, Faheem Ashraf and the young sailor Ali Raza.
The T20i series will be played in Faisalabad and Lahore, and Bangladesh is expected to arrive in Pakistan on May 21. The exact coincidence dates have not yet been confirmed.
Among the most prominent names is Sahibzada Farhan, who has been prolific during the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025.
Farhan currently leads the Global T20 Run-Corers’ list, after having obtained 841 races in 12 games at an average of 84.10 and an attack rate of 182.42.
His achievements include four T20 centuries this year, joining a distinguished list along with Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, Jos Buttler and Shubman Gill.
Despite his domestic domain, Farhan has only appeared in nine T20i for Pakistan, with his most recent international departure against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo in 2024.
The all -terrain Hussain Talat has also opted his claim after scoring 193 races for Peshawar Zalmi in HBL Psl 10. Talat, which has 394 T20i running in his name, represented Pakistan in 2021 against South Africa.
The all -terrain veteran Faheem Ashraf, currently playing for Quetta Gladiators, is also on the Radar of the PCB, with contributions of 68 races and six WICKETS in the ongoing PSL. His last appearance in T20I arrived in 2023 against New Zealand.
Hasan Ali, in excellent way for Karachi Kings, has been another key artist who seeks to return to the Pakistan Cricket team.
He directs the HBL Bowling lists PSL 10 with 13 WICKETS and recently became the leader of all time in the history of PSL, surpassing Wahab Riaz.
The emerging pacemakers Ali Raza has also caught the attention of the selectors, taking eight wickts in six games for Peshawar Zalmi.
The PCB is expected to finish its team in the coming weeks as the preparations intensify for the series at home.
