Pragmata Reviews Raise Questions About 8GB VRAM Ahead of Launch

Capcom’s next title pragmatics is drawing attention to PC hardware lawsuits after reviewers reported performance issues on some 8GB VRAM graphics cards. In a technical analysis, Digital Foundry stated that the game offered high frame rates on an RTX 5090 at 4K at maximum settings.

Meanwhile, on an RTX 4060 at 1440p, performance was initially stable but dropped after moving past the demo section.

According to , once the player reached the control center, more intense stuttering became visible and the frame rate dropped well below 60 fps. A later street area created more tension, while some scenes reportedly dropped to single-digit frame rates.

However, after adjusting the settings and disabling shadow cache, the experience became smoother and stayed closer to 60fps.

The tester claimed that freeing up memory on the RTX 4060 made a significant difference. Based on that result, he said it was the likely cause and not a lack of raw GPU power or lack of support for Nvidia features.
