The design of the Mumbai Indians jersey, 2026 edition, is inspired by the letter ‘M’ developed as a repeating pattern to create rhythm and continuity throughout the print. The ‘M’ represents MI’s mentality, mentality and drive, reflecting focus and a spirit of advancement. Transforming a single letter into a unified pattern expresses the collective strength that arises when the team and its fans come together.
MI’s signature blue and gold define the jersey’s visual identity. The deep blue reflects the spirit of Mumbai, strong, energetic and constantly moving, while the bold, flowing golden waves introduce energy and movement into the design. Gold represents success, victory and legacy, and reinforces the identity of Mumbai Indians and their enduring passion for the game.
