Cristiano Ronaldo finished his Al Nassr goal in excellent fashion by finding the back of the net during their Saudi Pro League 2025-26 match against Al Fateh at the Prince Abdullah Bin Jalawi Stadium on Saturday.

This was the Portuguese striker’s 962nd career goal and his first since turning 41 earlier this month.

Ronaldo did not feature in Al-Nassr’s most recent matches, missing two Saudi Pro League matches and one AFC Champions League 2 match amid reports that he was unhappy with the way the club is financed, particularly after seeing rivals Al Hilal sign Karim Benzema in last month’s transfer window.

Al Nassr, Al Hilal, Al Ittihad and Al Ahli are majority owned by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo, who still has 18 months left on his contract, moved to Al Nassr from Manchester United in 2022 and has been one of the Saudi Pro League’s biggest ambassadors, with several European stars joining the league since his arrival.
