Christian Cowan brought romance during his new york fashion week Fall/Winter2026 presentation, and their designs were charmingly interesting.
Topic, “before the door opens“ His collection was extremely bold with daring silhouettes, deep necklines and artistic play of sheer fabrics.
“I’ve always been thrilled from the moment before you walk out the door,“Christian Cowan said.”There is something powerful about that private ritual, when you are alone with the mirror and decide who you are going to become. This season, I wanted to highlight that process and make it a spectacle.
As the models walked down the runway, attendees marveled at the 1950s textiles, antique lace trims and traditional corsetry techniques.
In addition to reimagining traditional techniques, he exposed attendees to the future of fashion with his use of mesh, sheer, and lace to partially reveal the body and underlying garments.
From lingerie-inspired dresses, to statement silhouettes and accessories like Koffee hats and necklaces wrapped around models’ necks and shoulders, Christian Cowan was intentional about creating a collection that was progressive and thought-provoking.
