The year 2003 was a year defined by brilliant Bollywood cinema. But it was clearly Radhe Bhaiya’s year with Salman Khan, redefining Ashiq mode with Tere Naam.

Directed by Satish Kaushik, the film turned into A phenomenon with its tragic love story. doing glasses break and giving an entire generation a middle-parted hairstyle that still refuses to die. While the film achieved cult status and remains one of Salman Khan’s best performances, it is all ready to be re-released in he theaters on February 28, 2026 and we expect a Lockers tsunami once again!

Despite its enormous popularity, Tere Naam settled for a successful verdict in its day with a profit of only 45%. Made on a budget of 10 million rupees, the film earned 14.5 million rupees net collection in india in his life! He needed a total of Rs 20 crore at the box office to claim a hit verdict!

How much does Salman Khan’s film need?

While the romantic drama is ready to be re-released in he cinemas, currently you only need 5.5 million rupees at the box office to change his historic verdict and claim to hit state by himself! With the current craze for re-releases (as seen with Sanam Teri Kasam and Tumbbad), earning Rs 5.5 crore in a week should be a piece of cake for a superstar like Salman Khan. If Bhai’s fans come out in full force, the film could finally claim the hit tag it deserved 22 years ago!

Interestingly, Tere Naamwith his relaunching, I could also change the order of the top 10 of the highest-grossing films of 2003, with the addition relaunching earnings at the box office.
