Antoine Semenyo has been on a tear since signing for Manchester City in the January transfer window.
The former Bournemouth star put his name on the scoresheet again this afternoon after opening the scoring for the Blues against Nottingham Forest.
The Ghanaian international has joined Pep Guardiola’s offensive ranks directly and has not looked back.
After scoring on Wednesday night against Nottingham Forest, the 26-year-old has extended his record to seven goals and two assists in just 12 appearances for Manchester City in all competitions.
If Pep Guardiola’s team manages to win major titles this season, Semenyo will surely be a key figure in that success.
Was it the best signing of the January window? It really seems that way.
