The Sydney Sixers have today confirmed their squad to take on the Sydney Thunder in the Sydney Smash tomorrow night, marking the club’s final home match of the season at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

With a packed SCG expected and finals momentum on the line, the clash is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated matches of the campaign.

The Sydney Smash rivalry has a long history of big moments and high-pressure contests, and tomorrow night’s matchup promises to be no different as the Sixers look to finish their home season strong in front of their members and fans.

The Sixers receive a significant boost with the inclusion of Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc, who enters the team for the blockbuster match.

Fresh off his player of the series performance in the Ashes, Starc brings world-class experience and proven match-winning ability to the Sixers attack.

Despite recently retiring from T20Is, Starc is widely regarded as one of the most dangerous white-ball bowlers in the world, striking fear in the hearts of opposing batsmen.

His left-arm pace, new-ball swing and ability to strike at key moments add significant firepower to an already stacked Sixers lineup.

Daniel Hughes returns from illness to rejoin the team, if selected he will play his 100th game as a Sixer.

The team features a strong mix of international stars, seasoned campaigners and emerging talents as the Sixers prepare for fierce competition against their city rivals.
