Stone County left with damage after Monday’s storm
STONE COUNTY, Ark. – Parts of Stone County suffered damage after Monday night’s storms.
Stone County Sheriff’s Office officials said they have received multiple reports of damaged properties, damaged homes and vehicles, downed power lines and trees blocking roads.
Arkansas Storm Team Warning Days Monday and Tuesday: Severe Storms Possible
Deputies say heavy damage is reported in the Dodd Mountain, Luber, Pleasant Grove and Hanover areas of Stone County.
Police officials said they believe the damage was caused by a tornado. National Weather Service officials have not confirmed whether a tornado touched down.
Stone County officials said crews are working to clear roads and drivers should use caution in the area.
