TMZ obtained the video, a copy of which was evidence in the case, and it is difficult to watch. Dakota struggles to record the altercation with her cell phone as Taylor puts her in a headlock. She backs away… but then charges and tries to kick him.
The fight turns violent when Taylor grabs a metal stool and throws it at Dakota. He yells at her, “your daughter is sitting there,” but she persists and throws two more stools at him. At that moment you hear your son, who was curled up on the couch, start crying.
The police report says the 5-year-old girl was hit and then had a “chicken egg on her head.”
Police arrived at the scene that night after a neighbor called to complain about the noise, and the officer can be heard on video trying to separate them.
During the fight, Taylor yells “you threw me” several times and later claims to police that Dakota had thrown her to the ground earlier than seen in the video.
We know that responding officers viewed this video and prosecutors used it in their case against Taylor.
she eventually pleaded guilty to the felony and was placed on 3 years’ probation, which ends in August. If you stay clean until then, the conviction will not appear on your record. As part of the agreement, prosecutors dropped 4 other charges, including domestic violence in the presence of a childchild abuse and criminal behavior.
TMZ broke the story…there have been ongoing allegations of violence between Taylor and Dakota. There is an open investigation by the Utah Division of Children and Family Services, and both Taylor and Dakota have been ordered to submit a psychological evaluation.
A rep for Taylor lashes out at Dakota, telling us… “It’s sad to see the latest installment of her endless, desperate, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without regard for the consequences for her son. Posting an old, selectively edited video on her son’s birthday is a reprehensible attempt to distract from her own behavior.”
The representative added: “Fortunately, the public has seen this act before and knows who he is, and sadly, many will recognize this pattern of manipulation, both in his actions on the show and in their own experiences.”
Filming of ‘The Secret Life of Mormon Wives’ has begun been put on ice …this, after other cast members refused to film due to the drama surrounding Taylor.
Taylor was scheduled to star in “The Bachelorette,” premiering Sunday on ABC… until this afternoon, when the The network was disconnectedcanceling the entire season.
