New entrant in the eye of the storm
One firm that generated a large amount of litigation in 2025 was Howden US, the US retail broking operation that London-based Howden launched in August of the same year. Within months of opening its doors, it faced lawsuits from Marsh, Aon, Willis Towers Watson, Brown & Brown, and Alliant – five separate actions, each telling a version of the same story.
