The Triumph Speed T4 is essentially a detuned version of the standard Speed 400, making it more suitable for daily use in the city. It has the same 398cc liquid-cooled engine, but makes a lower power output of 30.5 hp and 36 Nm of torque compared to the Speed 400’s 38.5 hp and 37.5 Nm of torque. While not visible at first, there are considerable cost cuts on the Speed T4 when you look closer. These include telescopic front forks that have replaced the gold-finished USD forks, non-adjustable levers, axially mounted front calipers, and conventional mirrors instead of bar-end mirrors. While these changes make the Speed T4 more affordable, it still retains the Speed 400’s fundamentals, including engaging performance, excellent handling, and premium equipment.
