Uber India and South Asia president Prabhjit Singh has stepped down after more than a decade with the ride-hailing company, the company confirmed on Thursday, PTI reported.An Uber spokesperson said Singh was leaving the company to pursue another leadership opportunity.“We thank Prabhjit for his leadership and lasting contributions throughout his decade-long journey with Uber – we are deeply committed to the next phase of our growth in India,” the spokesperson said.Calling India one of Uber’s most important global markets, the company said the country remains a key driver of innovation and long-term growth.“The strength of our business today reflects the incredible team and foundation we have built over the years,” the spokesperson said.
